AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF PART-TIME ASSISTANT CLERK OF COUNCIL, ACCEPTING THE POSITION DESCRIPTION AND PAY GRADE THEREFORE AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary to create the position of part-time Assistant Clerk of Council in the Legislative Department, and establish the pay grade therefore.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That there is hereby created the position of part-time Assistant Clerk of Council in the Legislative Department, the position description attached hereto is accepted, and the pay grade for said position shall be Grade 11.
Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion so that adequate staffing is in place immediately in the Legislative Department; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
